Spotlight on Camryn Rios | San Antonio Senior Portraits

Camryn Rios is an all-star cheerleader through and through. She has cheered for most of her life and cheer is still a BIG deal to her, which is no surprise given that her parents own Stars Cheer and Tumbling Academy, located right here in Schertz.  In fact, Camryn is so passionate about cheer that she actually completed her junior and senior years of school in a year and a month, so that she could take advantage of the opportunity to travel and work for Action Spirit Company this past summer.  

Many seniors around the San Antonio area opt for the beautiful hill country of Boerne or the serene Guadalupe River for their portraits, so I was completely psyched when Camryn chose a more gritty, urban location for hers.  After getting to know her, I began to realize that the downtown vibe was perfect for this girl, who loves to walk to the beat of her own drum.

Leah: Where do you spend most of your time?

Camryn: I am at Stars Vipers Cheer and Tumbling Academy more than I am my own house!

Leah:  What is your Dream Job?

Camryn:  One day I would love to be a cheer gym owner.

Leah:  Is there anything you wish you were better at?

Camryn:  Yes, it would be great if I could speak better Spanish!

Leah:  Which session outfit was your favorite?

Camryn:  The flannel shirt around my waist with my combat boots was my favorite, but my mom liked the black outfit the best.

Leah:  Tell us three things no one knows about you.

Camryn: I can't sing at all, I spend my entire paycheck on Nike shoes, and I color code my apps.
