Choosing the Perfect Session Style

It’s almost time for your session and we’re trying to decide on session details such as clothing and locations. Here are some things you’ll want to think about:

1. If you’re like most of my clients, you’ll want to use your portraits as wall art, so be sure to keep in mind the décor of your home. My personal style is bright and bold, however, my home is more subdued. I would never dress in bright colors on a canvas on my wall because it doesn’t go with my home. Make sure you coordinate your outfits and locations to match your house.

2. If you have a modern home like mine, studio portraits will look amazing on your walls. Is your style a little more rustic? Then an outdoor, natural setting might complement your home best. Be sure to look around at the art you currently have displayed and think about which location will complement it

3. You can also choose to have a lifestyle session done inside your home. We will come to your house and take photos of your family in your own environment. These are beautiful and will look great in your house because they match perfectly.
